Sciacca coral and silver rosary. Mounted on a silver chain and six silver elements, in addition to the final crucifix and the connecting medal. A total of 53 coral beads and six silver beads. The initial five beads, immediately following the five-bead crucifix, two silver beads encompass the three coral beads. Then comes the oval medal with the profile effigy of Pope Pius IX (Giovanni Maria Battista Mastai-Ferretti 1752-1878), and on the reverse, Saints Peter and Paul with the Holy Spirit. The actual crown is made up of a chain of five dozen coral beads and four larger silver beads. Italy, circa 1870.
