Pair of bookends in silver bronze, with giallo di Siena Marble rectangular base, representing two young goast in a joust Signed PIERRE LAUREL on the base of bronze. This is the pseudonym of the renowned French sculptor Pierre Camille Marie Le Faguays (1892-1962).They are also stamped by the foundryman Marcel Guillemard and bear the number 16. Excellent condition.
