On either side, above the band, are two cabochon-cut sapphires, as are the sapphires at the top, below the large red lava cameo. Ebony wood barrel and metal ferrule. The Peruzzi family of Florence, cited as silversmiths and goldsmiths in Florence, is a dynasty of artisans with a long history of silversmithing and jewelry.
The Peruzzi Brothers company traditionally dates back to 1860, founded by Giuseppe Peruzzi and his wife Giulia as a silversmith’s workshop in Florence.
At the beginning of the 20th century, their children (including Gustavo, Guglielmo “Gino”, Gastone, and Guglielmina) continued the business, leading the workshop to success.
International expansion: In 1910, some family members opened a branch in Boston (USA), under the name Fratelli Peruzzi Argentieri, strengthening the company’s international vision.
