A beautiful vase, in impeccable condition, model Atossa by Lalique France, in clear crystal with heat-applied lavender flowers. Created by Marie-Claude Lalique in 1972. The collaboration between father and daughter is a recurring tradition in the Lalique family. Like Suzanne and René, Marie-Claude collaborated with her father Marc, son of the famous glassmaker. Steeped in family tradition, she is committed to continuing the work of her grandfather and father. Like them, she draws inspiration from nature. René’s influence is also evident in her taste for color. Indeed, she often pairs colored crystal with clear crystal. This piece is an example, with the lavender floral motif applied to the colorless body. The vase bears a signature engraved freehand with a diamond point or a small wheel on the edge of the base. France 1972.
