A large cabinet of curiosities diorama with natural crystal specimens and multicolored butterflies, mounted under an oval blown glass bell jar, with a black lacquered poplar base. An internal board, made of fir wood with a moss carpet, supports a composition of various crystals (Calcite Flowers, Scolacite, Barite, Purple Fluorite, Moroccan Druse, Green Fluorite, North African Red Quartz, Vanadite, small Citrine tips) with flowering branches on which rest eight natural butterfly specimens (Doxocopa cherubina from Peru, Argentera Cuneo from Italy, Pyropis peguensis from Wimngapao from Thailand, Charaxes Cynthia, Polyommatus Icarus, Lexias pardalis Jadeitina, Cymothoe sangaris Comgo and a cicada Polydictya uniformis). Italy, second half of the 19th century.
