An oil painting of Paesena. The frame, made of ebonized walnut wood finished in wax, has a rectangular shape with an internal signature that flares out towards the inside to accommodate the painting, finished with a stop in golden ramin wood. Inside, on a well-chosen table of village stone (limestone concrete – Limestone – compact and clay – clay) a genre scene which, taking advantage of the evocative veins of the stone, depicts a seascape. A sailing ship moving away with gathered sails and a boat moored offshore. On the left and right, we find two boats moored in the harbor with several characters among the rocks. Made in oil on stone. Italy, late 18th century.
