The box, made in 800/1000 silver, is decorated with a pattern of large vertical parallel lines, and shows the hole on the left top for a silk cord. The inside is gilt.
The lid shows a smooth surface on which is shown a velately erotic scene, depicted in enamel, a woman flying in the sky, holds the reins of a dragonfly that supports her.
