Along the sides runs a continuous carved pattern of flowers and leaves, painted in red and green, ascending toward the top. A central element supports two vases, one on each side, also adorned with flowers. On one side, a male figure is shown climbing, wearing a hat and a red sash around his waist; on the other, a fantastical animal supports another male figure above it.
