Folk art walking stick: stick with metal tip, the shaft made from an iron core in which leather discs are inserted, with a progressive diameter up to the handle. The cane is polished and waxed. The handle is connected by an iron ring, and is made of gutta-percha, with a swollen ring at the base and the classic rounded milord shape. England, c.1860.
