Walking stick: ivory carved handle depicting a refined portrait of Bernardo O’Higgins Riquelme (Chillán , 20 August 1778 – Lima, 24 October 1842) he was a Chilean general and politician of Irish origins, awarded the title of Father of the Fatherland and the first head of state of Chile with the title of Supreme Director of Chile and commander of the Ejército de Chile from 1818 to 1823.
