Celestial globe over a wheel turned wooden base, with round foot, moved profile and tall leg, with a perfect patina, is placed this celestial globe, edited by J. Wyld, Charing Cross East, London. The globe is made out of papier maché, finished with pastiglia (refined chalk ) and completed by the copper printed color gores. Touches of color over the Milky Way. The cartography is realized by is based on the catalogs of Piazzi, Bradley and others. Graduated meridian bar for the parallels measures. England circa 1860.
